My apologies to all the breathless fans of my creatively titled “Bill’s Blog.” After an auspicious beginning three months ago, Life seems to have Stepped In and Directed My Attention Elsewhere. However, no matter. I am planning to step up my blog production by THREE HUNDRED PERCENT, so I’ll be seeing you here NO LATER THAN Christmas Day. I’m sure you’ll be popping in here first thing.

Actually, here’s my excuse: I’ve been moving from Front Royal, VA to Rochester, NY, and that WILL dampen a blogger’s enthusiasm. Now that I’m here and established, expect great things. At Christmas.

As I mentioned in my last blog, only three months ago, my wife Beth and I are interested in farming. That interest is sharpening into something approaching concrete action as we visit various actual real-life farms and plan to do an internship in the spring. I’ve read in all kinds of places that more people need to get into farming. Now, you can read in this place about two people actually doing/failing at doing it.

NEXT TIME: Our First Farm Visit, or, Gosh, Horses Are Big.
