A month’s absence. Unforgivable.
True, I have been strolling through the snow, eating, retying my shoes, and in general relishing those few pasttimes that don’t relate to maintaining this website. However, I have also been learning a whole new language or two, coding, and losing sleep, all so that I can now proudly present…(drumroll and kazoo flourish, please)…dynamic content!
What does that mean to you. the End User? Well, thanks to the power of php, MySQL, and other equally obscure realms of human activity, my site now looks aboutlike it did before, except with intimidating, dynamic URLs!
Try a link! Where before you saw a taciturn link to a homely, static textfile, you are now confronted with a three-mile long string of gunk that, if you’re lucky, vanishes off into the invisible infinity inside the textbox, the dusty nook where humans never tread and programs hide their lone socks. You might as well be on eBay.
Not that this was my primary goal. But it’s about all you’ll notice…except that the “map” link finally does something. And there’re new categories, such as Distributism. Except that I’m a bit late with the next installment, so let’s pretend I didn’t mention that…
I’m still moving old files in, but feel free to holler if anything’s missing (or broken). The pdf files and the art, for instance, are AWOL. Fortunately, while you’re waiting, I can recommend an excellent artist. His name is “Michaelangelo”. Not so well known, necessarily, but some great stuff. Check him out!
